A downloadable game for Linux

Tankfeud Light is our first release, freely distributed "forever free", version of our game Tankfeud. Tankfeud is a fun and easy 2D tank battle game with good physics meant to be played with your friends in a sofa in front of a big TV. Hook up as many controllers you can find to your USB hub and battle away! 

This light version is limited to max 4 players (2, 3 or 4) and just a few simple maps. The main game will support at least up to 16 players!

  • Linux version 0.7.2 is packaged as an AppImage.
  • Windows and OSX versions coming!

NOTE: You can control with keyboard - tank 1 with WASD+X and tank 2 with arrows+SPACE.

Install instructions

Linux version is packaged as an AppImage, just change it to an executable:

chmod +x Tankfeud_Light-x86_64.AppImage

And then run it:

./Tankfeud_Light-x86_64.AppImage
